We recently returned from a bit of winter sun and a wonderful week away to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary.  We spent a week in the Canary Islands on the SW coast of Tenerife.  We were pretty lucky with the weather, 25 degrees each day and sunny throughout. 

We managed to get round the island quite a bit including an afternoon sailing trip on the Free Bird One catamaran to see the 600m cliffs off Gigantes.  We spent some time whale and dolphin spotting and managed to see Spotted Atlantic and Striped dophins and a family of Short-Finned Pilot whales.
